President Prabowo Launches Sanur Health Zone in Indonesia

DHP Radio, Indonesia – Indonesia just made history. President Prabowo Subianto officially launched Sanur’s Special Economic Zone (KEK) for international health services, calling it the nation’s first world-class medical hub.

Prabowo called the KEK Sanur a “historic breakthrough.” For the first time, Indonesia has an economic zone dedicated entirely to global-standard healthcare. He also thanked former President Joko Widodo, who started the project.

“I believe this is a breakthrough, the first of its kind in our Republic. We are launching a special economic zone dedicated to world-class, international-standard healthcare services,” said Prabowo during the inauguration.

Joking that “the good parts” always land on him, Prabowo praised Jokowi’s decision to launch the health-focused KEK. The vision was Jokowi’s, Prabowo just had the honor of cutting the ribbon.
