Wednesdays 7pm-9pm

DJ-Raus aka Muzic-Box was born in the late 70′s in Rome (Italy), where he started listening to music at local radio shows, mainly dance and electronic house. So he started spinning records at private parties and for friends. 

During the 90′s he started to build his first electronic music studio based around an old Atari computer and some Roland analog synths and he released some acid house tracks (Lab-Work Recordings). But at the end of the 90′s Raus stopped playing music because his interest in music had gone down, probably because there weren’t new inspirations and all the music produced (today) always sounds” in the same crappy sound!”

Only after his first trip to New York City in 2007 when he discovered a lot of tunes from the 70′s, soul and funky classics that he’d never heard before… all these new grooves (from the past) of music created by the fusion of different cultures and genres like Afro, Latin , Rhythm & Blues and Soul. During the early 70′s these were the basis of the disco music genre that today is degraded into minimal electronic.

So his love to re-discover and share the real “sound” must be the new source of inspiration for today’s music because “anything without knowledge could be build in the right way!”

Soul Cave radio show is a two hour selection of classics tunes (for vinyl lovers we play vinyl only)
